  10. Instructions for Bios-Update to version 0A:
  11. 1) Do not update bios, if EPROM is manufactured by Intel.
  12.    You can recognize the typ of flash eprom by removing
  13.    the AWARD-label from the eprom. If it's an intel typ,
  14.    then it is signed with "i". In this case the boot block
  15.    is write-protected.
  16.  
  17.    Flash EPROM = Intel (i) -> Bios Version: 553WUQ07 suggested
  18.    Flash EPROM = MX, SST, Winbond,... -> no problem
  19.  
  20. 2) Programming voltage for Flash-EPROM depends on manufacturer:
  21.    12V -> Jumper 9 Pin 2-3 closed (MX and Intel)
  22.    5V  -> Jumper 9 Pin 1-2 closed
  23. 3) Make sure that Password-setting is disabled in Bios-Setup.
  24. 4) Start DOS, but without any memory manager (e.g. EMM386.EXE)
  25. 5) Start program by entering:    AFLH52B <Bios-Filename>
  26.  
  27.    The <Bios-Filename> depends on the I/O-Chip (U3) of the
  28.    onboard-controller
  29.

  33.    Make bios update with any ISA-VGA-Card,
  34.    if old Bios-Version makes trouble with PnP.
